Zorro was born in a litter of 4 cheetah cubs.  We had to take him and his sister Pixie away from their mother as she was constantly carrying them around in her mouth and there was a worry that she would badly hurt them.

He is one of our running cheetahs and is such an amazing sight to see.

COMMON NAME: Cheetah 

SCIENTIFIC NAME: Acinonyx jubatus

TYPE: Mammals

DIET: Carnivore

GROUP NAME: Coalition

AVERAGE LIFE SPAN IN THE WILD: Up to 12 years

SIZE:  70-90 cm (28-36 in) high at shoulder

WEIGHT: 35-65 kg (77-144 lbs)
